Apparently cutting a car in half and importing is a popular way to buy car parts in bulk! Want an engine? Just buy a car that’s been sliced in half! Usually the things still run too, so you could like mount a wheel and a seat to them, then drive them around like a demented go-kart.

Muahaha! Heck yes! Start up the engine, rev it a little...though...carbon monoxide might be a problem. :D

The Australian JDM scene apparently imports their engines in these half cuts. You get the engine, gearbox and all of the auxiliaries but it’s still way cheaper than importing a whole car solely to part out.
